Vegim, of Prishtina-Kosovo, makes his second return on Prescribed Trax imprint following a successful label debut of his “100 KW EP”. Vegim continues to show his mastery of industrial sounds with three originals complimented with remixes by Stephen Thrasher of Toronto – Canada, and Darmec (Blue Monkey Records Label Boss) of UK.

Dax Phase (Original) builds upon sci-fi synth sounds with the occasional dark tones. This combination of interstellar like synths, melodic rhythms, and African infused percussion give it a futuristic tribal feel.

Dax Phase (Darmec Remix), Darmec, a well-respected techno producer and Blue Monkey Records label boss, provides his personal rendition of the original and shows us why he continues to deliver quality tracks that reside at top of charts. Driving hi hats that make the back of your neck hairs stand and hypnotic percussive loops keep you locked in til the end. As it arrives at the break, it carefully builds up with an array of sounds to unleash part two of his written masterpiece.

Dax Phase (Stephen Thrasher Remix) Stephen joins us from Toronto, Canada. His remake of the original delivers driving hi hats with 909 bass kicking adrenaline sound. Stephen methodically manipulates the percussion tones throughout, creating a groove that keeps the listener intrigued.

Recon (Original) is spacey and bouncy. A siren-like looped sound sets the mood which is accompanied by analog synths and driving percussion. What makes all this work is Vegim’s mastery of sound mixing.

Confuse & Conquer (Original) starts with choppy bass and slowly introduces a “PAC-MAN” like synth as it builds towards the break. Coming of the break, the synth continues to ascend making its presence known. A fun and playful track.
